A beetroot raita is quick and simple recipe which made with yogurt, beetroot and some Indian spices. It’s a very healthy accompaniment of yogurt which you can serve as side dish.
Peel and grated the beetroot and boil it with enough water in saucepan or pressure cooker till to tender.
Blend it till to smooth.
Now combine whisked yogurt, beetroot puree, salt, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder, green chilies, onion and coriander leaves and mix well.
Keep in refrigerator for 2 hours to set. Serve chilled with main course.
