Apple Kheer (Apple Payasam)

Apple Kheer is a delicious and milk based dessert which is prepared by boiling milk with grated apples and sugar. It is a fusion of tradition rice based kheer recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Red Apples peeled and grated
  • 1 Litre Fresh Milk
  • Sugar to Taste
  • 1/2 Cup Condense Milk
  • 1 Tsp. Cardamom Powder
  • Few Saffron Strands
  • Few Almonds Slivered
  • Few Pistachios Slivered

Instructions
 

  • Boil the milk in a saucepan, heat till to 2/3 quantity.
  • Add cardamom powder, saffron, dry nuts and mix well.
  • Add condense milk in reduced milk and mix well. Cook till to thick consistency.
  • Now add grated apples and sugar and cook for 4-5 minutes till to sugar dissolved.
  • Serve warm or chilled apple kheer in serving bowls.
