Bael Ka Sharbat (Wood Apple Juice)

Bael Sharbat is summer drink which made with bael flesh with salt, pepper and sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Medium sized Bael/ Wood apple
  • 2 Tbsps. Powdered Sugar
  • Black Salt to Taste
  • Roasted Cumin Powder to Taste
  • Black Pepper Powder to Taste
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice, Optional
  • 2-3 Glasses of Water
  • Few Mint Leaves, Chopped for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Break the fruit and Scoop out the flesh in large bowl, using a spoon. 
  • Pour glass of water and Squeeze the pulp to separate the seeds and juice, using palms. 
  • Press the juice through siever to strain the fibers and seeds from the thick pulp. 
  • Transfer the pulp remaining in the sieve into a bowl and add more water. Repeat the squishing and strain process. 
  • Add sugar to the strained juice and add salt, pepper powder, cumin powder and mix well. 
  • Serve chilled with mint leaves and ice-cubes. 

Notes

You can add Lemon juice also which gives very refreshing taste to this Indian Bael sharbat
