Bread Pakora Recipe

Bread pakora is an Indian fried snack. It is also known as bread bhaji. A common street food, it is made from bread slices, gram flour, and spices among other ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Bread Slices
  • 1 Cup Gram Flour
  • Salt to Taste
  • Red Chili Powder to Taste
  • 1 Tsp. Carom seeds
  • Oil For Frying

Instructions
 

  • Cut the each bread slices into equal four pieces and keep aside. 
  • Heat the oil in wok on high flame.
  •  Combine gram flour, salt, red chili powder, carom seeds and water to make smooth batter for pakoras. 
  • When oil is hot enough, dip each piece into besan batter and deep fry them on medium flame till to golden and crisp. 
  • You can fry 4-5 pieces at a time. Serve besan pakoras with green chutney or tomato ketchup and tea.
