Hara Chana Paratha | Green Chickpea Paratha

For this paratha, you have to cook grounded chickpeas with green chilies and spices in oil and your stuffing is ready to make parathas and serve with curd and pickles.

For Dough 1 Cup Wheat Flour 1/2 Tsp. Salt 1 Tsp. Oil Water for Kneading Oil for Cooking For Stuffing 1 Cup Fresh Green Chickpeas 1/2 Tsp. Carom Seeds 2 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped 1 Tbsp Oil Salt to Taste Red Chili Powder to Taste 1 Tsp. Coriander Powder 1/2 Tsp. Garam Masala
Combine flour, salt, and oil in a deep bowl and knead soft dough using enough water and keep aside.
Grind the green chickpeas coarsely in the mixer.
Heat the 1 tsp. oil in non-stick pan and add carom seeds.
When they start crackle, add green chilies grounded chickpeas, garam masala, coriander powder and salt and sauté few seconds and keep aside.
Take a small portion of dough. Roll a portion into circle and place small portion of chickpeas stuffing in center.
Bring all the edges in center and seal tightly. Roll again by using a little flour for rolling.
Heat a tawa on medium flame and cook the paratha till to golden brown from both sides using oil.
Serve hot paratha with curd and pickle.
