Wash and soak the dal in water for atleast 30 minutes.
Add dal, mango cubes, salt, turmeric powder, onion, tomatoes and green chilies in pressure cooker with water and mix well. Cover with lid and cook for 4-5 whistles or until tender.
Open the lid and mash the dal.
Heat the ghee in tadka pan, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, dry red chilies. Pour the tadka over the dal and mix well.
Cook for extra 5 minutes and garnish with coriander leaves.
