Matar Pudina Pulao (Green Peas Mint Rice Recipe)

This rice dish is a combination of green peas , mint and coriander leaves. It is a very simple and aromatic one pot meal dish which serves with curd or raita.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Cups Cooked Basmati Rice
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Mint Leaves
  • 1 Cup Boiled Green Peas
  • 2 Green Chilies, Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Onion, Chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Coriander Leaves, Chopped
  • Salt to Taste
  • Red Chili Powder to Taste
  • 1 Tsp. Coriander Powder
  • 2 Tbsps. Oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil in non-stick pan, add onion and green chilies and saute for 2 minutes on medium flame. 
  • Add green peas, coriander and mint, salt, red chili powder and coriander powder and mix well and cook for few seconds. 
  • Add cooked rice and toss gently. Stir few seconds and Serve Immediately with curd or raita.

Notes

Tips: You can use leftover steam rice also for making this recipe.
