Nariyal Ka Meetha Paratha Recipe

This Paratha is sweet in taste and stuffed with grated coconut, sugar and cardamom and serves along with pickle or curd.

- 2 Cups Wheat Flour
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Tbsp. Ghee
- Extra Water for Kneading
- Desi Ghee for Cooking
- 3/4 Cup Dessicated Coconut, Grated
- 1/2 Sugar or to Taste
- 1/2 Tsp. Cardamom Powder
- 1/2 Tsp. Funnel Powder
- 2 Tsp. Ghee
Heat the ghee in non-stick pan, add grated coconut and saute for few seconds.
Now add sugar, cardamom and funnel powder and mix well. Remove from the flame and keep aside to cool.
Divide the stuffing also into 6 equal portions.
Combine flour, milk and ghee together and gently rub using fingers.
Now add little water to knead smooth dough for parathas. Cover and Keep aside for 10 minutes to set.
Divide the dough into 6-8 equal portions. Roll it into circle using rolling pin.
Grease with little ghee and add one portion of stuffing and fold the edges in center.
Again roll it into circle using rolling pin and dust with flour if needed.
Heat the non-stick tawa or griddle and cook each paratha on a medium flame using little ghee on both side till to golden and cook. Serve hot paratha.
