Nariyal Ka Meetha Paratha Recipe

This Paratha is sweet in taste and stuffed with grated coconut, sugar and cardamom and serves along with pickle or curd.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Ghee
  • Extra Water for Kneading
  • Desi Ghee for Cooking
  • 3/4 Cup Dessicated Coconut, Grated
  • 1/2 Sugar or to Taste
  • 1/2 Tsp. Cardamom Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Funnel Powder
  • 2 Tsp. Ghee

Instructions
 

  • Heat the ghee in non-stick pan, add grated coconut and saute for few seconds. 
  • Now add sugar, cardamom and funnel powder and mix well. Remove from the flame and keep aside to cool. 
  • Divide the stuffing also into 6 equal portions. 
  • Combine flour, milk and ghee together and gently rub using fingers. 
  • Now add little water to knead smooth dough for parathas. Cover and Keep aside for 10 minutes to set. 
  • Divide the dough into 6-8 equal portions. Roll it into circle using rolling pin. 
  • Grease with little ghee and add one portion of stuffing and fold the edges in center. 
  • Again roll it into circle using rolling pin and dust with flour if needed. 
  • Heat the non-stick tawa or griddle and cook each paratha on a medium flame using little ghee on both side till to golden and cook. Serve hot paratha.
