Orange Sandesh

Orange sondesh or sandesh is a sweet bengali delicacy that will, surely make it me hungry anytime. Its very rich, healthy and light dish which made by cow's milk curdle.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Chenna/ Crumbled Paneer
  • 4 Tbsps. Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp. Cardamom Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Orange Juice or Flavor

For Stuffing

  • 2 Oranges, Pulp
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar, Powdered
  • 1 Tsp. Orange Juice
  • 1 Tsp. Chenna/ Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Boil the milk and add vinegar or lemon juice in boiled milk, when curdle starts, strain the milk in muslin clothe and wash under a running water to discard the lemon taste. Keep aside this fresh milk chenna or cheese to cool.
  • Transfer the chenna into plate, add cardamom, sugar and orange flavor or juice and knead it till the mixture becomes smooth. Add a tsp of juice if required.
  • Divide the dough into equal portions and keep aside. 
  • Heat the orange pulp in non-stick pan till it dries, add sugar and chenna and gently toss them in it. Cool and keep aside.
  • Take a portion of chenna and stuffed with tbsp stuffing and bind it as round shape.
  • Repeat the same process with remaining portions. Keep in freeze for atleast one hour and served chilled.
