Instructions
Wash, Clean and Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes and drain the excess water and keep aside.
Heat the ghee in non-stick pan.
Add cumin seeds and slightly roast it.
Add green chilies, chopped potatoes, crushed peanuts and roast it.
Add salt, black pepper powder and soaked rice and mix it.
Add 2 1/2 cups water and stir well.
Cover and cook the khichdi on medium heat till to cooked or puffed.
Transfer the khichdi in serving plate and garnish with extra ghee and coriander leaves.
You can serve this khichdi with coriander chutney and masala curd.
