Ingredients
For Filling
1 Cup Sattu/ Roasted Chickpea Flour
1 Tbsp. Mustard Oil
Salt to Taste
1 Tbsp. Mango Pickle, Crushed
1/4 Cup Onion, Chopped
2 Tbsps. Coriander Leaves, Chopped
1 Tsp. Green Chili, Finely Chopped
For Dough
2 Cups Wheat Flour
1/2 Tsp. Salt
Oil For Cooking
Instructions
For Filling
Dry roast the sattu or chickpea flour in non-stick pan. Remove the roasted flour in separte bowl.
Add chopped onion, chilies, coriander leaves, salt, mango pickle, mustard oil and mix it gently.
Add water if need to make dough consistency mixture. Keep aside to further use.
For Dough
Combine wheat flour, salt and water to prepare regular type of dough for parathas. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes to set.
How to Cook
Now divide the dough and stuffing into equal portions.
Roll each portion of dough and place the stuffing in center and close the edges tightly.
Roll again using rolling pin and dust with flour if needed.
Heat the tawa on medium flame.
Place the rolled chapati and cook the paratha from the both sides till to golden brown and crisp using oil or ghee.
Serve the hot parathas with curd and chutney.
