Zero Oil Khichdi Recipe

This khichdi recipe is super healthy and oil free recipe, Even i dont use onion, gralic or anything. It can be served with pickle, chutney or curd.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 3/4 Cup Yellow Pigeon Lentil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 Tsp. Turmeric Powder

Instructions
 

  • Wash and soak the rice and dal in water for atleast 20 minutes.
  • Drain the excess water and keep aside.
  • Add rice, dal, salt, turmeric powder with 4 cups of water.
  • Cover with lid and cook till to 3-4 whistles on low flame.
  • Open the lid and mix well.
  • Transfer into serving plate and serve hot with curd and pickle.
