Missi Roti

2013 is now part of our life and we enjoying this year with good
recipes and celebration…. Today I post “Missi
Roti
” for Blogging Marathon# 24 in 1st week…. under the theme of
stuffed bread. In this recipe, we combine gram flour with wheat flour and spices…
cook like chapatii and grease with little butter on the top of roti.
You can serve this Missi roti with gravies and curries; this roti
is very healthy and nutritious for everyone instead of plain flour made roti’s.
You can serve this roti as a breakfast meal or as a main course meal too.

Servings: 2-3
Ingredients
1 Cup Bengal Gram Flour
1/3 Cup Wheat flour
1 medium Sized Onion, chopped
1 Green chili, chopped
1/4 Cup Green coriander, chopped
1/4 Tsp. Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 Tsp. Coriander powder
1/2 Tsp. Chat masala
1 Tbsp. Oil
Butter for greasing

Direction
Combine all ingredients together in one bowl and make soft dough
with enough water.
Now divide the dough into equal portions.  Grease each portion with little oil and flat out each portion by using rolling pin or palm and dust little flour if needed.
Now heat the tawa and cook till to cook well and grease little
butter on the top.
Serve stuffed missi roti with gravies or curries.
