Cheesy Onion Rings

Today I post “Cheesy Onion
Rings” recipes in BM#21, Kids Delight Theme. Under this recipe, we mix paneer
with gram flour batter and fry the onions. Onions are a very good source of
vitamin C, B6, biotin, chromium, calcium and dietary fibre. In addition, they
contain good amounts of folic acid and vitamin B1 and K. A 100 gram serving
provides 44 calories, mostly as complex carbohydrate, with 1.4 grams of fibre.

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 15 Minutes
Serving: 2-3 Persons
Ingredients:
2 Large sized Onions/ Pyaaz
4 Tbsp. Gram Flour/ Besan
2 Tbsp. Grated Cottage Cheese/ Paneer
Salt to taste
1/2 Tsp. Carom Seeds/ Ajwain
1/2 Tsp. Coriander Powder
Red Chili Powder to Taste
1/4 Tsp. Raw Mango Powder/ Amchor
Chat Masala to taste
Oil for Frying

Directions:
Cut the onions in round shape.
Combine all ingredients together except onions and mix well.
Prepare thick consistency batter.
Now heat the oil in the pan on high flame, when oil is hot. Dip the
onions one by one in batter and fry these pieces till to golden.
Serve Cheesy Onion rings with Imli Chutney or Tomato Ketchup.
