Badam Milk

Today I post very authentic drink i.e. Badam
Milk or Almond milk, you can serve chilled or warm as you like. For this
recipe, boil milk with almond paste, cardamom and sugar till to ¾ quantities and
garnish with nuts. It’s a really traditional beverage recipe which is very
popular in all over India and good option to serve in festival celebration. Badam
milk is very good for activeness and increase energy. It’s improves skin
quality too.

Ingredients
500 ml Milk
1/2 Cup Almonds
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp. Green Cardamom Powder
5-8 Strands Saffron
For Garnishing: Chopped Pistachio, Almonds

Direction
Boil almonds in water for 5 minutes. Now drain
out almonds and peel it. Grind almonds with little milk in smooth consistency
paste. Heat the milk on high flame, when milk starts boiling. Add almonds
paste, cardamom powder and stir well. Stir continuously till to little thick nearby
3/4 of original on low flame. Add saffron (soaked in 1/2 tbsp. milk) and mix
well. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve chilled in individual glasses.
