Carrot Laccha Paratha

Today I post “Carrot Laccha Paratha” for Blogging Marathon# 23
under Carrot theme. Under this recipe, we combine carrot and wheat flour
together and making layering and crispy paratha. We serve this paratha with any
curry and gravy which enlarge its taste.

Minutes
Cooking Time: 5
Minutes per Pieces
Serving: 3 Pieces
Ingredients:
1 ½ Cup Whole Wheat Flour
3/4 Cup Carrot, Peel and Grated
1 Green Chili, Fine chopped
Salt to taste
1/2 Tsp. Red Chili Powder
1/2 Tsp. Carom seeds
1/2 Tsp. Sesame seeds
Clarifying Butter for Shallow Fry

Directions:

Combine all ingredients together in one bowl and make soft dough
with enough water except clarifying butter.
Now divide the dough into equal 3 portions and roll it by rolling
pin.
Now spread ghee over the flatten dough and sprinkle salt and red
chilli powder little more on the top. Now cut the flatten dough in half diameter as picture in shown. Now
roll it as a cone form.
Press the cone to make it flat and roll it again as flatten bread.
Heat the non-stick tawa/griddle on medium flame. Place the flatten
piece on griddle and spread clarifying butter both side and cook till to golden
and cook well. Serve this laccha paratha with curries and gravies.

  1. hey i know another method which my mother in law thought me …and that's without using any knife or cutter and it makes LACCHHAS in my paranthas very well and clear 🙂
