Grill Idli Sandwich

Last Updated on

This time I prepare “Grill
Idli Sandwich” under the theme of “Sandwiches without bread” for Blogging
Marathon 26. For this recipe, first we have to prepare idli and club with stir
fry veggies and sauces as a sandwich. It’s really awesome way to present idli into
burger or sandwich style as a funky food for fussy kids.

You can serve this
sandwich with tomato ketchup or any dip which you like. In this recipe I used
green coriander dip and pizza sauce for spreading on idli slices but you can
choose whatever you like tomato ketchup, mustard sauce, mayonnaise and cheese
spread instead of pizza sauce and green dip.

Garnish with grated carrots
and chopped almonds and coriander. I used grill pan for giving grilling lines
for beautiful texture. For idli, I prefer to add semolina, rice flour and Bengal
gram flour together.
It’s spicy and tangy taste hits my tastebuds with lots of flavor. It’s really simple and beautiful recipe of sandwich instead of bread sandwich.
