Hot Chocolate – Homemade

Last Updated on

Everyone knows I’m big chocoholic person in
my family. Hot chocolate is my favorite drink especially in winter season when
we love to eat and drink anytime but warm. That time I always brought some
ready made hot chocolate pack which made by mixing in hot water. But this time I
tried fresh hot chocolate made at home. For this just stir the sugar and dark chocolate
in milk and add some flavors of vanilla extract and cinnamon.

Preparation
Time: 10 Minutes

Cooking
Time: 10 Minutes
Servings: 2
Category: Beverages
Ingredients
2 Cup Full Cream Milk
Sugar/ Honey to taste
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Dark Chocolate, Grated or
chips
1 Tsp. Vanilla Essence
1 Small Cinnamon Stick
Instructions
Boil the milk in heavy bottom saucepan, add
chocolate chips. When chocolate starts melt, add sugar and whisk until to
dissolve.
Add cinnamon stick and vanilla essence and
boil again for 2-3 minutes. Strain the mixture in coffee mug and serve hot with
whipped cream or chocolate powder.
Notes: You can use marshmallow cubes or whipped
cream as topping. If you are calorie conscious, then use tone milk instead of
full cream.
