As per ICC, Indian Cooking Challenge hosted by Srivalli, choose very famous snack Kodubale from Karnataka Cuisine which suggest by Veggie platter. Kodubale/ kodbale -Karnataka specialty  a crispy and salty snacks
which good for any time meal… at the time of watching TV or gupshup with friends.
This is the first time, when I tried this type of snack… and it’s really
awesome snack which you can preserve for 2-3 days or more in airtight box. Under
this recipe, we combine rice flour, peanuts and all-purpose flour together and
make coil shaped with dough. Now deep fry till to golden and serve with tea or
coffee whatever you like. This time Srivalli choose this recipe Kodubale- Karnataka specialty for Indian Cooking Challenge in month Dec.  As I have no idea about this recipe so I get
all information from veggie platter blog.

Ingredients
1 + 1/3 Cup Rice flour
1/3 Cup All Purpose flour/ Maida
1/3 Cup Roasted Peanut powder
Salt to taste
Red chili powder to taste
For tempering
½ Tsp. Mustard seeds/ Rai
½ Tsp. Carom seeds/ Ajwain
1 tbsp. Clarifying butter/ desi ghee
A pinch of Asafoetida/ Hing
Vegetable oil for deep frying

Directions:
First roast the skinless peanuts and grind it till to powder form.
Now combine sieve maida, sieve rice flour and peanut powder in one
bowl.
Add salt and chili powder.
Heat the ghee in pan and add hing, rai and ajwain till to splutter.
Keep aside to cool.
Now add tadka into flour bowl. Mix well. Add enough water to kneed form
firm dough.
Divide the dough into small lemon sized portions and grease the
plateform with little oil.
Now roll it like log or pipe form and make coil from this as in picture
shown.
Repeat this procedure with rest of dough. Heat the vegetable oil on
medium flame.
When oil is hot enough, add this coil shaped kodubale in hot oil
and fry till to golden in color on low flame for crispier and cook well.
Serve this kodubale with tea. You can store rest of kodubale in
airtight box.
