Nan khatai is an Indian version of eggless cookies
which made with combination of plain flour, gram flour and semolina. After that
dry ingredients fold with melted ghee to prepare smooth dough. Semolina is
completely optional but it gives crisp texture to cookies. So, strongly recommend
you to add semolina and ghee in these cookies. It’s a wonderful treat for kids
and adults both to serve with tea or coffee all time. Melted ghee gives amazing aroma to these
cookies which makes tastier. These days Nan khatai- Indian buttery cookies are available
in every common bakery shop.
