Khichdi is Indian main course generally which made with rice and dal. But for
oats khichdi, we replace the rice with oats and makes tastier or healthier dish
by adding vegetables.
The combination of Oats, lentils and veggies makes it a light yet complete meal
in itself. It is full of subtle flavors from spices, making it the ideal
comfort food for a rainy day.
Oats vegetable khichdi is another easy way to have oats in your diet. Its make
your meal more nutritious, healthy and tasty. Even you can serve this recipe to
your toddler to adults everyone. Texture can be grainy or mushy depend on how
you cook or like.
Adding of oats in your daily meal is a good way to get protein in your diet. No
matter which oats variety you choose for your recipe, it gives you around
10-14% protein. Half cup of dry whole oats contains 7grams of protein.

Instructions
Wash and soak the
dal in water for one hour. Drain the excess water and keep aside.

Heat the ghee in

There was a time when this khichri was made regularly , with changing times I don't make this anymore , but I know the khichri tastes excellent and your pics are absolutely stunning !
