Kulle ki chaat or Kulhard ki Chaat is a delicious and tempting chaat which serves with little twist on fruit chaat. In this chaat fruits are serve as serving cup and filled with chickpeas, pomegranate, lemon juice and spices. You can use any vegetable and fruits which are available in market like cucumber, tomato, boiled potato, sweet potato, pineapple, mango, melon, watermelon, apple, orange, papaya and banana and many more options are available at shop. It’s an amazing and refreshing snack with sweet and tangy flavors.
You can found this chaat only on chandni chowk, old Delhi “Hira Lal Chaat wala”. Most of time my family arranged this chaat wala at family functions. They are serves only fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables.
What’s better than fresh and seasonal fruit and vegetables—skins peeled, of course—hollowed out and topped with salty tangy spices, chickpeas, and pomegranate seeds. Finally, an Indian street chaat that completely guilt-free and healthy snack.
For this recipe, I choose seasonal mango, musk melon, apple, orange, cucumber, tomato, and boiled potato which are stuffed with boiled chickpeas, pomegranate arils, lemon juice and spices. To make the fruit cups or baskets, you have to peel the skin and scoop out the center flesh or pulp like a hole.
