Monarch Cruise has announced the launch of a cruise experience that will bring together the cream of Bollywood and Cricket. The cruise will allow passengers to get up close and personal with their favourite cricket icons, Bollywood stars world-class DJs and celebrated chefs.
An event management agency has not yet been appointed for this cruise featuring gala events, celebrity DJs, masterchefs, comedy shows, multi-cuisine meals, shore excursions at various destinations; Bollywood themed shows; international song and dance shows; and cooking and mixology shows.
Monarch today announced some more big names for its line up on the Bollywood and Cricket Edition. Legendary cricketers Graeme Smith, Jacques Kallis, Brendon McCullum, Kumar Sangakkara, Michael Bevan, Mark Boucher, Shane Lee, Dean Jones, Damien Martyn and Jeff Thomson have been added to the celebrity line up that already includes Sachin Tendulkar, Brett Lee and Shane Warne.
Aside from these illustrious cricketing personalities, there will also be Bollywood vocalists Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Neha Kakkar, Neha Dhupia and leading DJs NYK, Khushi, Badshah and Gouri Sharma. Stand-up comedians Vir Das and Papa CJ will entertain those on board while celebrity chefs Sanjeev Kapoor and Vineet Bhatia will serve up outh-watering cuisines from all over the world.

The glamorous cruise offers seven different itineraries with four 7-day legs, two 13-day legs, and one 26-day experience for the cruise enthusiasts. Departing from Singapore March 5th, 2017, the ship will course through Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, Penang, Colombo and Cochin before reaching Mumbai and retracing the route back to Singapore. As per the nitial reports, ticket sales have been very strong, with selected cabin types already selling out.
Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar also commented, “The Indian subcontinent is passionate about Cricket and Bollywood and this cruise promises to be a thrilling experience with some of the best from these fields on board.
