Kesar Chai recipe is a comforting and easy to prepare tea recipe which is good option for morning or evening time with snacks. Addition of saffron or kesar in boiling water gives the flavor and color to tea. You can even taste the tea without milk also.

Saffron is well known ingredient for treating depression, asthma and even good for skin. Its really costly product which is used to prepare every course of meal…gravies, beverages, sweets and dessert. What we needed to prepare kesari chai
1 Cup Milk
2 Cups Water
Few Strands of Saffron
Sugar to Taste, optional
2 Green Cardamom
2 Tsp. Tea Leaves

How to prepare kulhard wali kesar chai at home:
Boil the water in saucepan, add cardamom and saffron to get flavors. Add tea and milk, mix well and after first boil, add sugar and boil few mintues on low flame. Strain and serve hot tea with biscuits.
