A- Aloo Cheese Paratha

Paratha is first option for breakfast in my family. I daily prepare the wheat flour dough to make fresh roti, parathas and more for lunch and dinner. For Indian flatbread theme, I started my cooking with first letter A i.e. Aloo Cheese Paratha.

First I prepared Aloo cheese stuffing, for this you have to combine boiled and mashed potatoes with spices and grated cheese. You can use any cheese but I preferred processed cheese or cheese cubes easily available in market. I really like aloo cheese paratha compared to regular aloo paratha. Even you can enhance the taste by adding pizza seasoning in stuffing.

Aloo cheese paratha is the stuffed potato and cheese Indian flatbread, simple and easy to make and totally delicious with tea and pickle as breakfast meal. You can serve this paratha in lunchbox or as breakfast meal.

This time Srivalli from Spice your life choose Indian flatbread and International flatbread theme for Sept Mega Marathon#92 edition. I choose Indian flatbread only under which I shared Indian parathas, Indian roti or pooris only. All are cooked on tawa, tandoor or deep fried only.

Place a portion of the stuffing at the center and close the edges together at the center to seal tightly. Roll out again into round shape like chapati, using little flour. Heat a tawa and cook paratha, using little oil, till to golden brown spots appear on both the sides. Serve hot paratha with curd and chutney.
