Bread Cigar Roll or Stuffed Bread Cigars are easy and no fried snack recipe which is stuffed with paneer, potatoes and green peas. You can serve this snack along with tomato sauce or pizza sauce. This snack is quite interesting recipe which you can serve as breakfast or evening snacks.
This snack is perfect snack for kitty parties, birthday parties and you can enjoy this on weekend with your family. For more variation you can add cheese slices also. Stuffed bread cigars or roll is a very old recipe which is crispy from outside and inside is soft and spicy.
Ingredients
6 Fresh White Bread slices
Butter to grease
For Stuffing
1 Medium Sized Potato, Boiled and Mashed
2 Tbsp. Green Peas, Boiled and Mashed
2 Tbsp. Cottage Cheese, Mashed
1 Tsp. Mustard Seeds
2 Tsp. Olive Oil/ Veg Oil
Salt to Taste
1 Tsp. Coriander Powder
1 Tsp. Red Chili Powder
Instructions:
Remove the corners of the bread slices.
With your hands, sprinkle 2-3 drops of water on the slice and press well to ensure the entire slice is moist.
Use a rolling pin & roll the bread nice & thin (this happens only when the bread is moist).
Spread stuffing on one side of each bread and roll out the bread very gently like a cigar.
Heat the non-stick tawa, grease little butter on tawa and place a cigar.
Keep it on a medium flame. When it is done on one side, carefully turn other side.
When it is done, take it out from the tawa and spread chutney and serve hot.
