Bun samosas are a unique twist on the traditional samosas. They are essentially samosas stuffed inside burger buns and shallow fried until crispy and golden brown. This snack is popular in India and especially in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh served as a street food.

The samosa’s filling consists of mashed potatoes, green peas, and a blend of aromatic spices like cumin, coriander, and garam masala. This samosa is stuffed in between burger bun with chickpea curry, green chutney and sweet chutney.

How to Make Bun Samosa

 

Ingredients

4 Burger Buns, Cut into Halves

4 Samosas

Chickpea or Chana Curry

Sweet Chutney

Green Chutney

Butter for Shallow fry

 

Instructions:

Take burger buns and cut into halves and keep aside.

Now apply green chutney and sweet chutney both sides.

Keep the samosa in centre and topped with chana curry.

Close the burger with another half one.

Press it gently and toss it in a pan with butter till to golden and crisp.

Transfer the burger into plate and cut into two or four pieces.

Serve hot with sauces.
