Masala Pudina Lassi | Spicy Mint Lassi

Lassi is very refreshing yogurt based drink that soothes your digestive system. Thick curd is blended with chopped pudina, coriander, chilies, black salt, jeera and ice and served in individual glassed and garnish with mint leaves. Pudina lassi is a great combination with every Indian meal.

Lassi is a popular traditional yogurt-based drink from the Indian Subcontinent. Lassi is a blend of yogurt, water, spices and sometimes fruit. Traditional lassi a.k.a., “salted lassi”, or simply “lassi” is a savoury drink, sometimes flavoured with ground and roasted cumin. Sweet lassi, however, contains sugar or fruits, instead of spices. Salted mint lassi is highly favoured drink and good in summer season.

 

 

What we need to prepare masala pudina lassi..
1 1/2 Cup Yogurt
1/2 Cup Mint, Finely Chopped
1 Green Chili, Finley Chopped
Black Salt to Taste
1/2 Tsp Chaat Masala
1 Tsp. Roasted Cumin Powder
Ice cubes as Needed
Mint Leaves, for garnishing

How to make masala pudina lassi.
Combine all the ingredients in blender and blend it for 3-5 Minutes. Add 1 cup of water and icecubes and blend again.  Serve in individual glasses and garnish with fresh mint.

Notes: if you like little green in color, blend mint and chili first after that add yogurt and blend it with water and spices.

  • 1 Green Chili Chopped
  • Black Salt to Taste
  • Chaat Masala to Taste
  • 1 Tsp. Roasted Cumin Powder
  • Icecubes as needed
  • Mint Leaves Garnishing
