Makki Ki Roti

Ingredients:
2 Cup Corn meal (Makki ka Aata)
1/4 Cup Wheat flour
Salt to taste
Water for dough
Instructions:
Mix cornmeal, whole-wheat up flour
and salt.
Mix in sufficient water, a little
at a time, to make medium soft dough.
Divide the prepared dough into 5-6
equal portions.
Wet your hand with a little water
and flatten each portion on a polythene sheet, into a disk of four to five
inches diameter.
Heat up a tawa, transfer roti
carefully on to the tawa.
Cook like simple roti, lift
the roti and toast on both sides over a direct flame for a few seconds until it
cooks.
A well done roti is cooked and has
golden brown spots on both sides.
Grease butter on makki ki roti and
serve hot with sarson ka saag.
