Easy Pineapple Rice Recipe

 

 

Pineapple rice is really delicious in taste because of tropical, sweet, savory and spicy flavors….. If you are not a fan of sweet rice or rice with fruit then try this one you will love it. It’s a great option for summer season. It is a greatest way to enjoy Hawaii recipe at own home.  It’s a very quick and easy to make dish. I used basmati rice but you can use jasmine rice also. Both are aromatic grains.

Pineapple is my favorite fruit. I’m big lover of fried rice and there’s quite a bit of variation out there. I love pineapple fried rice or pineapple dishes because of huge pieces of pineapple. This recipe is very convenient and loaded with pineapple chunks; you can taste or feel the sweetness of pineapple. For this recipe you have saute the diced pineapple with spices and herbs and combined with cooked rice.

What we need to cook Pineapple rice:

2 Cups Basmati Rice, Cooked

1 Cup Pineapple, Cubed

2 Tbsps, Pineapple, Crushed

1/2 Tsp. Salt

 

2 Tsp. Sugar

1/2 Tsp. Chili Flakes

2 Tbsps. Butter

1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice

Fresh Coriander, Garnishing

Tutti Frutii, For Garnishing

 

How to Prepare Pineapple Rice

Heat the butter in non-stick pan, Add pineapple, sugar, salt, chili flakes in a pan and saute few seconds. Add cooked rice and 2 Tbsp milk and saute for one minute on low flame. Remove from heat and garnish with coriander and lemon juice and tutti fruiti. Serve immediately.
