I- Indori Palak Poori

Indore is known for its street food and you can easily found the palak puris in the streets of Indore. Indori palak puri is simply melt in your mouth dish, which made with palak and wheat flour. You can serve this palak poori with any side dish or pickles. I love this puri recipe because of color, healthy ingredients such as palak.

You can serve this poori with any gravy such as Aloo ki sabzi, Aloo Matar ki sabzi, Bharvan Lauki, Paneer Pasanda and more.

Ingredients

2 Cups Wheat Flour

2 Cups Spinach Puree

Salt to Taste

1 Tbsp. Oil

1 Tsp. Carom Seeds

Oil for Deep Fry

How to Make Indori Poha :

Combine all ingredients together in big bowl and knead into a stiff dough. Cover and keep aside for 10-15 minutes. Heat the enough oil in wok. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into a thin disc and keep aside. When oil is hot enough, gently add the rolled disc one by one. Cook till to puffed and slightly brown from the both sides. Remove from the oil onto kitchen towels. Serve hot with any gravy dish.

  1. The palak pooris have turned out with amazing colour Preeti. This is one of the best ways to feed kids with greens. They would just be happy with coloured pooris..
