Apple Kheer is a delicious and milk based dessert which is prepared by boiling milk with grated apples and sugar. It is a fusion of tradition rice based kheer recipe. The difference between apple or seb kheer and rice kheer is using grated apple instead of soaked rice grains. To get flavors in this dessert, you can add cardamom powder, saffron, rose water, cashews, pistachios, almonds and raisins. You can call apple kheer, apple paysam and seb ki kheer. It is great option for Festive time or navratri recipes.
Kheer is a rice pudding and originate from India. To make kheer, you have to boil milk with sugar and some following ingredients as base such as broken wheat, rice, sago, vermicelli, sweet corn and any fruit. To add flavors, you can add cardamom, dry fruits and nuts, saffron, melon seeds. It is typically served during a meal or as a dessert. It is also known in some regions as meetha bhaat, payasam, payasa, and phirni.
What are the Benefits of Apple?
Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids, and dietary fiber. The phytonutrients and antioxidants in apples may help reduce the risk of developing cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease.

Ingredients for Apple Kheer:
2 Red Apples, peeled and grated
1 Litre Fresh Milk
Sugar to Taste
1/2 Cup Condense Milk
1 Tsp. Cardamom Powder
Few Saffron Strands
Few Almonds, Slivered
Few Pistachios, Slivered
How to make Apple Kheer Recipe:
Boil the milk in a saucepan, heat till to 2/3 quantity. Add cardamom powder, saffron, dry nuts and mix well. Add condense milk in reduced milk and mix well. Cook till to thick consistency. Now add grated apples and sugar and cook for 4-5 minutes till to sugar dissolved. Serve warm or chilled apple kheer in serving bowls.
