Mitho Lolo is a traditional sweet dish from the Sindhi cuisine, typically made during festivals and special occasions. Mitho lolo is sweet sindhi flatbread recipe which made with whole wheat flour, sugar and water. It is a sindhi special recipe, you can serve along with curd, pickle or chutney.
You can store these sweet flatbreads in air tight jar for atleast 1 week. Even you can add jaggery powder too instead of sugar.
Mitho lolo/gur jo lolo is the Sindhi mithi roti. This sweet flat bread is also called lola. It is one of the main recipes prepared for the festival. It is very similar to Punjabi tikde.

Mitho Lolo Recipe | Sindhi Flatbread Recipe
Here’s a simple recipe for Sindhi Mitho Lolo:
Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour (atta)
2-3 tbsp jaggery or sugar
1/4 ghee (clarified butter)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder, optional
1/4 Water, as needed
Instructions:
Heat the water in a pan on medium heat. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Remove from the flame and mix well till to dissolve.
Add the whole wheat flour in separate bowl and melted ghee and rub it like crumb.
Add sweet water slowly and mix well to combine. Knead a stiff dough and keep aside.
Divide the dough into four small portions and shape them into small round shaped ball (lolo).
Roll out each portion into thick circular roti and now cook from each side till golden on slow flame. Turns the side occasionally.
Place the roti on a deep plate and pour lots of ghee on top. Leave it for a few minutes to absorb the ghee.
Now store it in an air tight jar when comes at room temperature.
